Many people don't really believe what priests, mullahs, rabbis and monks say about God and the world, but they absolutely believe in science!
Since they don't really have a clue about all the sciences, which they no doubt believe in, science is just an all-powerful substitute religion for them.
They offer no resistance if the demands made are scientifically "justified".
Therefore, any kind of fraud must be scientifically packaged, whether it is cosmetics products, drugs, climate change, eugenics, nuclear fracking, nuclear fusion, corona pandemic, carbon foot print or whatever.
This unresisting belief makes its believers vulnerable to any abuse.
The scientification of all big lies, frauds and crimes creates a bottomless idiotization of society, especially represented by highly qualified academic idiots.
If it weren't for our relatives and friends "voluntarily" rushing to the "vaccination centers" then we could ignore it. How should supposedly responsible and adult people be protected from mass suicide?

PREFACE
Great and powerful description of how students learn/experience science nowadays (actually the wrong way). However this practical true description is not only suitable for science, this treatment of students and later on behaviour is everywhere when it comes to a profession that needs something extremely new to achieve. Mostly (and sadly) the real new fresh insights (out-of-the-box) must come from the outside because people learned to trust only what is documented in the official (peer-reviewed) papers. We can behold this not only at science but also in politics, farming, environment, automation, healthcare, medical, schooling, energy and so on.

"What Is science?
People talk glibbery about science. What Is science?
People coming out of a univerisity with a masterdegree or PhD and when you take them into the field, and they letterly don't believe anything if it is not in a peer-reviewed paper. That is the only thing they accept. And when you say something: let's observe, let's think, let's discuss, they don't do it!
They say: "Is it in a peer-review or not?" That is their view of science. I think that is pathetic!
They go into universities as bright young people and come out of it brain dead, not even knowing what science means. They think it means pear-reviewed papers etc, no! That is academia. And if a paper is peer-reviewed, it means everybody thought the same before they approved it.
An unintended consequence is that when new knowledge amurges, new scientific insights, they can never ever be peer-reviewed.So we blocking all new advances in science, that are big advances.
If you look back to the breakthroughs in science, almost always the don't come from the centre of that profession, they come from the fringe, people see it differently.
The finest candlemakers in the world couldn't even think of electric lights. They don't come from within, the offers come from the outside the breaks.
We going to kill ourselves because of stupidity.
