However, this is not enough if it is really about ruthless murder, as was demanded by the Americans in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Nigeria etc. according the "shock and awe" strategy.
The fanatical warriors were brought from all over the world, lured with the promise of paradise on Earth, namely in an "Islamic State", where "Islamic law" applies, without having crime, no one is treated unfairly, etc.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Army fought with the Islamists about 40 km away. As the army approached, all captives were executed with shot in the head.
This mass murder was aggressively presented in all mainstream media as a cruel act by the "regime of Assad". Also videos were shown where the Islamists flaunt their murdered victims but pretend to be relatives.
Only in the FAZ a journalist had dared to express doubts about these reports, for which he was scolded by everyone else.
Not even the fanatical Islamists will be able to carry out such an act without drugs.
There have been many similar cases. The intention was to give the general population of Syria the impression that security forces could not protect them and were practically no longer existent.
As could be seen in the course of the war, this shock strategy went wrong, on the one hand, because the government stood firm and the security forces adapted their combat strategy to the situation and, on the other hand, this senseless and mindless killing has welded the people and the state together even more .

The fedayeen were intensively prepared for their difficult task and had to perform it with great attention. Therefore it can be ruled out that they were druggy.
According to the legend, preparation involved a special ritual. The fedayeen got a sleeping drink and woke up in a beautiful palace garden, where he was cared for a day by beautiful young women. After falling asleep again, he woke up in his reality as a fighter and was promised this paradisiacal life in the event of his martyrdom.

With the fall of the British Empire and the rise of the USA, drug trafficking also passed into the hands of the American empire.
At least with the expensive duration of the Vietnam War, the drug trade became the main source of income for the CIA and the US military for so-called covert operations. The more wickedness of the war was to be hidden, the greater its funding with drugs and arms trafficking became.

For the Islamists, the war in Syria and Iraq was not about fighting the security forces of a regime, but about breaking the government's backing through mass murders among the population. It was clear to the planners of this attack that Bashar Al Assad could not be overthrown through propaganda and elections. At that time he would have won any election with 60% to 80% of the vote, as the only significant alternative would have been a party of the Muslim Brotherhood, which was and is ineligible for the vast majority of Syrians.
The indiscriminate killing was used for psychological warfare!
Some may have forgotten, but one of those murders was particularly exemplary. In the town of Taldou in the Houla region, 110 people from families known to be "loyal to the regime", children and adults, were captured and initially tied by their hands with cable ties.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Army fought with the Islamists about 40 km away. As the army approached, all captives were executed with shot in the head.

Even at the beginning of the war, the Syrian security forces were amazed at the sacks full of Captagon pills that they confiscated from cought Islamists or their suppliers. Large loads of Captagon were also discovered in Lebanon, including a Saudi "prince", who transported the pills with his private jet.

"Damascus, SANA – The Drug Combating Department of the Interior Ministry arrested four drug pushers in Damascus and its countryside, a source at the Ministry said on Wednesday.
The source added that 10 kg of hashish and 6000 tablets of Captagon were seized in the pushers’ possession.
On September 3rd, two drug pushers were arrested in Damascus and an amount of narcotics was seized in their possession."

"Chavela Madlena produced a documentary about captagon that aired on BBC Arabic. She wrote about it for ForeignPolicy.com.
"Captagon is an illegal version of a drug invented by the German pharmaceutical giant AG Degussa in the 1960s. It was originally supposed to treat everything from attention deficit disorder to being a popular dieting aid." But all that changed in the mid-1980s. "That's when the World Health Organization and the FDA concluded it was more addictive and harmful than good. It was just eventually one of those amphetamines that kind of just fell away."
Now an illegal version of it is in high demand across Syria, fueled by the country's civil war. Madlena and her documentary team visited an illegal pill factory in Beirut. The people running the Beirut drug factory would only let their cameraman in."
