1. Documentary about extensive farming in Saudi Arabia
How Saudi Arabia Is Turning Desert into Huge Farmlands
Jun 20, 2021
This is a non-complete transcript from voice-over of the documentary:
" 95% of Saudi Arabia is a scorching desert, dunes and infertile land.
Even though Saudi Arabia is one of those 6 countries that doesn't have any permanent rivers and has only 4 inches of rain a year, it exports wheat, vegetables, fruits, dairy products all around the world.
In the 1990s, Saudi Arabia was one of the largest wheat exporters in the world.
If we zoom in, there is something interesting going on in this country. There are a lot of circular greeneries spread out along the desert all across the country and even in the desert and these are farmlands, more specifically, center pivot irrigation farms.
The sheer magnitude of agricultural projects in Saudi Arabia has been huge.
In 1961 it had 11,400 sq km of arable land, comprising 0,5% of the country.
In 2016 it has almost 35,000 sq km, which is the triple the amount of fertile land.
Saudi Arabia has transformed 24,000 sq km of desert into fertile land, fertile soil.
How this desert country has transformed big areas into fertile land?
How with its 1,5% arable land, can Saudi Arabia produce and export agricultural products?
How they got so much water to sustain large-scale farming?
Engineers have tapped into ancient river channels, now buried by the sand seeds!
The fossil waters were trapped in aquifers as deep as one kilometer below the ground and it was accumulated during the periods of glacier epochs between 10 thousand and 2 million years ago.
Saudi Arabia sits on huge reserves of not only oil but water as well!
It has been pumping water from the glacier lake aquifers to enable farming and milk production on a large scale.
Crop irrigation and farming requires large amounts of water and energy. These are becoming expensive and less available.
One of the best ways to manage water and energy (in farming) is the center pivot irrigation method.
Pivots are capable of applying water, fertilizer, chemicals and herbicides. This versatility improves the efficiency of irrigation practices by using a single piece of machinery to perform several functions.
Saudi Arabia has been building center pivot irrigation for 50 years now, however they have nearly emptied what was an aquifer the size of a Lake Erie.
Since Saudi Arabia receives very rainfall, aquifers are not being replenished.
The prevailing winds are from the west and contain almost no moisture after traversing Northern Africa.
Saudi Arabia is suffering from a major depletion of water in its aquifers and the risk of disintegration of its agriculture as a consequence.
To prevent this catastrophe, Saudi Arabia has bought agricultural land in the United States, Argentina, Indonesia and a number of African countries.
There are some natural solutions to make desert into agricultural land.
2016 to 2018 a 2 year drought ravaged the region (mountainous area at the west coast). Most of the trees died out. 2018 and 2019 rain fell again and flew through the terraces and dams. The whole area turned into rich savanna.
Mountainside terraces trapped water and gave life to the soil. Now it is lush and green."
2. Water is brought by Climate Engineering!
It is deadly wrong to claim that ice age aquifers would be the source of water for large scale farming in Saudi Arabia.

The main reason of water supply by Climate Engineering is not farming, but unconventional fracking of oil and gas.
As the precipitation is unnaturally increased for Arabia and parts of North Africa, where oil and gas has to be produced by Nuclear Fracking & Hydraulic Pressing, East Africa and Europe suffer from drought.
However, the Europeans governments accept this to secure the energy production in Arabia and North Africa. This is more needed, as the NATO countries don't want to buy oil and gas from Russia anymore.
This means more drought in Europe and East Africa.

3. How is the water transferred to Arabian Peninsula?
The Climate Engineering is process of many steps, but it mainly consists of three components.
1. Punching holes into the Ozone Layer between 20 km and 30 km altitudes to get more UVB rays and trigger more evaporation and higher diffusion of moisture.
2. Spraying thin layers of fine dust particles from 5 km upwards to trigger artificial cloud formation and pull the moisture step by step up to about 12 km altitude.
3. Trim the fine dust particles and the artificial clouds based on them by using high frequency radio and hyper sound waves to guarantee optimal spreading and steering of the artificially lifted moisture.
