1. Why does the EU no longer want traditional farmers?

The international corporations themselves operate large-scale industrial agriculture on cheap land, mostly in desert areas.

Due to the variety restriction, farmers do not produce any special products anyway. The same varieties are produced and offered worldwide in larger quantities, much cheaper and without subsidies.

The farmers gave up their business base without resistance. They allowed themselves to be transformed into henchmen of the pharmaceutical industry and buy both the patented seeds and the pesticides from the same companies.

3. Why is organic farming with conventional farmers unnecessary?

With large-scale industrial processes, agricultural products of organic quality are produced on a mass scale, so to speak, under laboratory conditions.

The corporations buy water rights and have the water delivered to them via climate control.
